Exhausted Idea

Backstory:

Exhausted Idea is a band of music enthusiasts brought together by fate in Brooklyn, New York. Each member was navigating their own path in a small-time job, suppressing their passion for music under the burdens of life until one rainy night at an open-mic event, they found their harmony. The founder, Thom, a record store clerk, invited the others – Matt, a bartender; Kate, a bookstore employee; and Alex, a street artist – to join him in creating a sound that reflects their shared love for music and their struggles. The band was born in that cramped apartment above a Greek diner, hence the moniker, ‘Exhausted Idea’, a nod to their wearied but persistent hope in the face of life’s challenges.

In the years following, Exhausted Idea has risen from the obscurity of local bar performances to touring nationally and bagging several prestigious indie music awards. Their songs, torchbearers of their journey, are a melange of their personal trials, victories, heartaches, and joys, quickly resonating with listeners and turning them into ardent fans.
