Backstory:

Liquid Correlation was first established in 2010 by two high school buddies in Seattle, Mark Douglas and Evan Hartley. Initially, they collaborated on an experimental basement project, combing their love for music and poetry. What started off as a hobby soon gained traction in the local underground scene and eventually blossomed into a full-fledged band with the addition of drummer Jesse Hughes and bassist Terry Morris in 2012.

Backstory:

Concrete Soldier was formed in the winter of 2010 in the small town of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The band was composed of childhood friends and self-taught musicians – lead vocalist, Benny Green; guitarist, Tommy “Jonesy” Jones; bassist, Sylvester “Sly” Wallace; and drummer, Danny O’Hara. They started playing in their parents’ garages, covering songs from their favorite post-punk bands. By 2012, they had started recording their original music and playing local gigs. Their big break came in 2015 when they won a battle of the bands competition, leading to their first record deal.

Over the years, Concrete Soldier evolved from their post-punk roots to incorporate a more melancholic tone, their lyrics often narrating stories of life in a small town, youthful rebellion, and the struggles of growing up. Wry Lift is a result of a chance meeting between four music enthusiasts from four different corners of the world at an international music festival in London. The band was formed in the fall of 2010 when Jack Kellerman (lead vocalist) from Ireland crossed paths with German bass guitarist Stefan Heidenreich, Australian drummer Tommy McArthur, and American lead guitarist Kyle Harper. The band consists of four childhood friends – John “Carter” Lennon on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Tommy “Rattlesnake” Jones on lead guitar and backup vocals, Jimmy “Silver” Smith on bass, and Ricky “Sticks” Stone on drums. The band members were all raised on their families’ stories about life in the mid-20th century.
