Backstory:
Born out of the bustling music scene of Austin, Texas, in 2008, Wise Sound is a unique blend of four musicians, each hailing from a different musical background. The lead vocalist, Harrison, was a renowned blues singer in the city’s live music venues, while the drummer, Leo, used to be a jazz percussionist playing in the hidden clubs around the city. The bassist, Rodrigo, a Latino, brought a rich heritage of salsa and Latin jazz, while the guitarist, Randy, was a country music enthusiast. One open-mic night at a local bar brought them together, and their different backgrounds resulted in a unique fusion of sounds, thus, Wise Sound was born.
