Mediocre Isolation is a group of four friends who hail from the small coastal town of Seaside, Oregon. Founded by lead vocalist and guitarist, Samuel Hightower, and his childhood friends, bassist Kevin Brewer and drummer Andrew “Drew” Hollingsworth, they were later joined by keyboardist Natalie Park. Backstory:
Cumbersome Flight began as a duo of childhood friends – Ryan McNeil and Jeremy Taylor. Both shared a love for music from an early age, growing up in the small town of Dover, New Hampshire, where their options for fun were limited. It was only natural that they gravitated towards creating music. The two spent countless hours jamming in Taylor’s garage, their passion only growing as they aged. Upon high school graduation, McNeil and Taylor decided to pursue their dreams, moving to Boston to study music. Their talent and dedication caught the eye of Sam Roberts and Lydia Summers, two fellow musicians who decided to join the duo, forming what we now know as ‘Cumbersome Flight’.
