Backstory:
Equal Swimming originated from the heart of San Francisco’s thriving underground music scene in the late 2010s. The band was formed by four old college friends – Arthur ‘art’ Collins on vocals and rhythm guitar, Emily ’emi’ Stone on lead guitar, Ben ‘benjy’ Jacobson on bass, and Theo ‘the honest’ Walker on drums. The friends, who pursued different career paths after graduation, decided to come together to express their shared passion for music, social equality, and harmony.

Their first album was met with critical acclaim, but it was their second album that catapulted them to mainstream success. Although their success story seems sudden, it was the result of years of dedicated practice, endless jamming, and relentless gigging in small venues around San Francisco. They have always believed in having an equal footing in their band, hence the name – Equal Swimming.

Sinful Music was formed in the gritty heart of Chicago in 2012. Enraged Thumb, a quirky band hailing from the eclectic city of Eugene, Oregon, was formed in 2007 when four childhood friends, during a summer break from college, stumbled upon a dilapidated barn filled with vintage musical instruments.
