Backstory:
Pleased Interface was born in the vibrant city of San Francisco, California, in the mid-2000s. The band was comprised of four eclectic musicians; Rob Langston on vocals and guitar, Lizzy Green on keyboard and backup vocals, Mike “The Machine” Everhart on drums, and Finn “The Phantom” Thompson on bass. The group met at a local coffee shop, each one drawn by the others’ impromptu jamming sessions. They soon discovered they shared a common love for electronic sounds mixed with traditional rock elements. This shared passion led to the formation of ‘Pleased Interface,’ a band that fluidly combines these varied styles to create a unique auditory experience.
The band quickly gained traction in the local music scene with their innovative performances and deeply meaningful lyrics. Their music was a hit in the underground scene, drawing in crowds at various clubs and cafes. Pleased Interface’s fame slowly seeped into the mainstream after their breakthrough self-titled album, which was critically acclaimed for its avant-garde approach to music.
