Backstory:
Born out of the bustling music scene of Portland, Oregon, in 2012, ‘Weekly Parliament’ is a group of friends who found a unique connection through their shared love of music. Comprising of members Casey (Lead Vocals), Jake (Bass), Max (Guitar), and Ethan (Drums), the band started out by playing local gigs in clubs and bars. Their unique chemistry and refusal to conform to mainstream styles soon caught the attention of local music lovers and critics. The name ‘Weekly Parliament’ was inspired by the quartet’s practice of meeting up once every week in Casey’s garage, which they refer to as the ‘Parliament,’ to jam out and discuss their musical direction.

Title:
“Sunset Echoes”
Full Song Lyrics:
[Verse 1]
Em C G D
In the quiet hum of the city night
Em C G D
We found a rhythm, bathed in neon light
Em C G D
Lost in the echoes of our whispered dreams
Em C G D
Chasing shadows, nothing’s what it seems
[Chorus]
Am Em C G
Hear the sunset echoes linger on
Am Em C G
In the silence after the day is gone
Am Em C G
We paint our stories on the canvas of the night
Am Em C G
With the sunset echoes as our guiding light
[Verse 2]
Em C G D
In the cold chill of the breaking dawn
Em C G D
We find our solace, where our hope is drawn
Em C G D
In the faded echoes of a song unsung
Em C G D
We find our anthem, in our hearts it’s strung
[Chorus]
Am Em C G
Hear the sunset echoes linger on
Am Em C G
In the silence after the day is gone
Am Em C G
We paint our stories on the canvas of the night
Am Em C G
With the sunset echoes as our guiding light
