Backstory:
Formed in the vibrant city of Seattle in 2014, Mysterious Ink quickly made a name for themselves with their gritty, edgy sound and poetic lyrics. The band members – lead singer and songwriter John “Blackbird” Granger, lead guitarist Sophie “Quill” Parker, bassist Alex “Shade” Mercer, and drummer Chris “Parchment” Bailey, all met at a local open-mic night. Recognizing a shared love for music that was both nuanced and powerful, they decided to join forces. Together, they became Mysterious Ink, a name inspired by the idea that their music was an enigma written in invisible ink, waiting to be discovered and revealed.
