Backstory:

Slight Delegate is a band that came into existence in the vibrant music scene of New Orleans. The group was formed in 2014 during a chance meeting at the city’s annual Jazz Festival. The four members – lead vocalist, Randy; guitarist, John; drummer, Dave; and bass player, Pete – were all performing separately at the festival but felt an immediate chemistry when they jammed together during an impromptu session backstage.

They decided to merge their respective talents to create a unique blend of music, drawing inspiration from their shared love for jazz, blues, and rock. Despite their diverse musical backgrounds and styles, their shared vision and dedication to create something fresh and innovative led them to form Slight Delegate, a band that’s constantly pushing boundaries and experimenting with new sounds.
