Backstory:

Born from the vibrant, eclectic arts scene of Austin, Texas, Drab Other was formed in the Summer of 2017. A chance meeting at a local music festival brought together the diverse talents of seasoned guitarist and songwriter, Flynn Dawson, bassist and synth maestro, Lara Joseph, and powerhouse drummer, Max “Thumper” Reynolds. The synergy was instantaneous, and they decided to blend their influences from post-rock, psychedelia, and indie to form something uniquely their own. They named the band Drab Other to reflect their embrace of the unconventional and their rejection of the mainstream.

Spiffy Arm was formed in 1995 in the heart of Manchester, UK. The five-piece band, composed of lead vocalist Davey Jones, guitarist Sam Doyle, bassist Gregory Clark, drummer Leo Mitchell, and keyboardist Eddie Reeves, met in a local pub, sharing a love for music and a common disdain for the mainstream. Each of them had spent their formative years playing in various garage bands, but it was their combined sound that made Spiffy Arm truly stand out.

They started out by playing local gigs, slowly building a following due to their unconventional sound and stage presence. A chance encounter with a record producer at one of their gigs led to their very first record deal. Backstory:
Green Farmer is a five-member band hailing from the quaint farmlands of the Midwest. The band was formed when the lead vocalist, Earl, and the bass guitarist, Jenny, met at the local farmer’s market where they both worked. They discovered a mutual love for music and started jamming after hours in the barn. Soon, they were joined by Earl’s cousin, Sam, the drummer, and Jenny’s childhood friends, Luke and Mary, who played the guitar and keyboard respectively. Originally formed in 1996, Envious Option is comprised of four childhood friends from the small town of Huntsville, Alabama. The band comprises lead vocalist and guitarist, Alex Thompson, drummer Mick Foster, bassist Henry Scott, and keyboardist Lisa Davis. Inspired by their collective love for music and the desire to escape their mundane small-town life, they began to write and perform their own music, which quickly resonated with their peers. Noxious Congress

Backstory:

The band Noxious Congress formed in the late 90s during the peak of the grunge craze. The founding members, lead vocalist Greg Stone, bassist Jake “Joker” Harris and drummer Charlie “Chuckles” Baxter, all attended the same high school in a small town in Washington. They would spend their after-school hours jamming in Joker’s garage, coming up with their own original tracks inspired by their love for Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden.

Upon graduating, the trio decided to take a gap year and hit the road with their music. They spent that year playing in dive bars, clubs, and at music festivals, gathering a fan base with their raw and energetic performances. They called themselves Noxious Congress as an ode to their belief that honesty, no matter how harsh it might be, was the core of any meaningful dialogue. The name stuck and so did the band. In the course of two decades, Noxious Congress has released six successful albums and remains a staple in the grunge rock scene.
