Backstory:
Formed in the quaint town of Ashford, Vermont, Gleeful Wing is a band that defies expectations. The band’s nucleus consists of childhood friends Jake Robinson (lead vocals, guitar), Ethan Freeman (bass, backing vocals), and Amy Evans (drums). The trio initially convened in Robinson’s garage as a way to escape their mundane high school routine. They found solace and purpose in music, which they used as a tool to communicate their emotions. Inspired by the legendary bands they listened to growing up, the trio decided to form Gleeful Wing. The band’s name draws from their shared love of birds and their desire to spread happiness through music.
