Sick Scandal

Backstory:

Emerging from the vibrant music scene of Austin, Texas, Sick Scandal was formed in 2015 by lead guitarist Jake “Razor” Reynolds and charismatic vocalist, Bella “Blaze” Anderson. Razor, a former member of a local punk band and Blaze, an ex-choir girl with a rebellious streak, met at an open mic event, and their musical chemistry was instant. Joined by drummer, Max “Mad Max” O’Donnell, and bassist, Lucy “Lockdown” Summers, Sick Scandal brought together an eclectic blend of backgrounds and influences to create a sound that’s uniquely their own.

Despite the members’ diverse musical roots, they found a shared love for blistering guitar riffs, thumping bass lines, edgy lyrics, and a raw, energetic stage presence. The band steadily climbed the ranks of the local music scene with their electrifying live performances, gaining a loyal fanbase, and eventually catching the attention of major record labels. In 2017, Sick Scandal inked a contract with Maverick Records, marking the beginning of their rocketing journey to rock stardom.

Title:
“Rebel Echo”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Em C
I’m the echo in the alleyway,
G D
The rebel with no name,
Em C
In the darkness, in the subway,
G D
Playing life’s wicked game.

(Chorus)
Am G D
Scream, let it shatter the silence,
Am G D
Roar, let it shake the ground,
Am G D
We are the rebel echo,
Am G D
We won’t be held down.

(Verse 2)
Em C
The city sleeps, but we’re awake,
G D
Underneath the stars,
Em C
In the chaos, we find our way,
G D
Leaving our battle scars.

(Chorus)
Am G D
Scream, let it break the stillness,
Am G D
Roar, let it claim the night,
Am G D
We are the rebel echo,
Am G D
Ready for the fight.

(Outro)
Em C
In our hearts, the echo remains,
G D
A rebel’s song, a wild refrain,
Em C
We are the sound, we are the light,
G D
We are the rebel echo, goodnight.
