Backstory:
Happy-Go-Lucky Generation, often referred to as HGLG, was formed in the vibrant music city of Austin, Texas in 2015. The band’s members – frontman Jared Black, drummer Lisa ‘Zephyr’ Zefferino, keyboardist Sam ‘Keys’ Klein, and bassist Nick ‘Low-note’ Lansing – all met at a local music festival. They found common ground in their love for music that was fun, uplifting, and full of life. They decided to form a band that would reflect their cheerful and carefree characters, hence the name Happy-Go-Lucky Generation.
Over the years, they have developed a strong fan base due to their infectious energy, tight performances, and a signature style that blends elements of classic pop with modern indie rock. Their concerts are a spectacle of high spirits, with the band often jumping into the crowd to dance alongside their fans. The band’s ethos is all about spreading positivity, love, and happiness through music.

Our favorite fan has to be Jenny ‘Joy’ Johnson. From the very first concert, she has been there, front and center, dancing along with us. Regardless of the weather, the venue, or the time, she brings her infectious energy. Her love for HGLG is obvious and her support never wavers.
