Backstory:
Secondary Award is a band that was formed in the heart of Detroit, Michigan’s punk rock scene. The members were high school friends – lead vocalist Trent, guitarist Mark, bassist Paul, and drummer Alex. They were always second in line for everything – sports, academics, and even in their love lives. They embraced this trend and hence, named their band, ‘Secondary Award’. After graduating from high school, they decided to pursue their passion for music and formed the band in their garage in 2010. They hustled, practiced, and played at small gigs until they were discovered by a talent scout at an underground rock concert in 2012.
