Backstory:
Bold Wonder was formed in the heart of Brooklyn, New York, in 2014. The band members, Jim ‘the Ace’ Aceman (lead vocalist), Grace ‘Storm’ Stinson (bassist), Peter ‘Lightning’ Laroche (lead guitarist), and David ‘Frost’ Freeman (drummer), met at a local music festival and bonded over their shared love for music and desire to create something unique. Despite their varied backgrounds – Aceman being a former accountant, Stinson, a professional skateboarder, Laroche, an ex-marine, and Freeman, a computer programmer – they found common ground in their passion for music and storytelling. Their journey from playing in back-alley pubs and basement gigs to selling out stadiums worldwide has been nothing short of extraordinary.
Genre:
Bold Wonder is known for their eclectic mix of Indie Rock and Psychedelic Pop. Their sound is characterized by soaring vocal melodies, driving bass lines, intricate guitar riffs, and a tight, powerful drumming style. Their lyrics often explore themes of love, life’s mysteries, and the human condition.
Title:
“One Last Dance”
Full song lyrics:
Verse 1: (Cmaj7 – Am7 – Dm7 – G7)
Lost in a crowd, just another face
Seeking a sound, seeking a trace
Beneath the moonlight, in this cityscape
I saw you dancing, in a sequin drape
Chorus: (Fmaj7 – Em7 – Am7 – G7)
One last dance, under the stars
In your eyes, I see my memoirs
A single chance, to hold you near
A memory, I’ll hold dear
Verse 2: (Cmaj7 – Am7 – Dm7 – G7)
The music fades, the night’s getting old
Your touch, a story untold
Your laughter echoes, in the midnight chill
One last dance, a moment still
Chorus: (Fmaj7 – Em7 – Am7 – G7)
One last dance, under the stars
In your eyes, I see my memoirs
A single chance, to hold you near
A memory, I’ll hold dear
Outro: (Cmaj7 – Am7 – Dm7 – G7)
In this dance, we weave a tale,
Of love and loss, in detail
One last dance, before the day
A memory, that’ll never fade away
