Backstory:

Cheery German’s story begins in the heart of Berlin, Germany, in 2010. The band was formed by three schoolmates named Max, Jürgen, and Klaus, who shared a passion for music and a deep love for their homeland. They started out practicing in their parents’ basements, playing covers of popular songs but soon began to write their own material. They found inspiration in the daily life of their vibrant city, their experiences growing up in a post-wall Germany, and their collective love for beer and bratwurst.

Their breakthrough came when they were spotted by an enthusiastic talent scout during one of their impromptu performances at a local beer garden. The scout was so impressed by their authenticity and raw talent that he immediately offered them a record deal. Cheery German quickly earned a reputation for their high-energy performances, joyful tunes, and their penchant for wearing lederhosen on stage. Their infectious enthusiasm and original sound soon garnered them a large and dedicated fan base, making them one of the most popular bands in Germany.
