Backstory:

Immaculate Cry was born in the bustling streets of Brooklyn, New York, in the year 2012. Founding members, Dylan Williams (vocalist) and Greg Smith (guitarist) were childhood friends who grew up sharing a common love for music and a dream to start their own band. After years of saving money from their respective jobs, they found their way to a humble studio apartment, a drum set, a bass guitar, and a journey that would lead them to create their brand of sound. After a couple of years of relentless practice and gigging around local venues, they welcomed two more members, Rachel Davis (bassists) and Mike Johnson (drummer). With a complete lineup, Immaculate Cry was set to push the boundaries of their musical prowess.

Their journey wasn’t smooth sailing; they encountered several challenges along the way. From having their equipment stolen to being booed off the stage at a local bar. However, all these trials only made them stronger. Instead of giving up, they used these experiences to fuel their passion further and poured their heart and soul into their music. This determination and grit earned them a loyal following in the Brooklyn music scene, and it wasn’t long until they caught the attention of a local record label, who offered them their first recording contract.
