The story

In the heart of Berlin’s Kreuzberg district, four friends shared a love for disco, mischief, and skeleton-themed fashion. On Halloween night, after a failed attempt at a costume contest, they decided to channel their quirky energy into music. With a nod to the iconic Boney M and a delightfully morbid twist, they dubbed themselves 'Bony Ms'.

Armed with glitter, synthesizers, and a humorous appreciation for all things skeletal, Bony Ms quickly earned a cult following in the underground club scene. Their catchy beats and tongue-in-cheek lyrics brought people together to laugh, dance, and embrace their inner weirdness. Today, Bony Ms is known for both their groovy sound and their ability to turn every gig into a ghostly, glittery celebration.

Disco-funk revival with a touch of campy synth-pop.

Dance Till You Drop (Dead)

Verse 1
Em C
Midnight strikes in the boneyard light,
G D
Shadows move, and the moon is bright.
Em C
Rattle your bones, don’t be afraid,
G D
Tonight’s the night we’re all undead.

Pre-Chorus
Am Em
So put on your shiniest shroud,
Am Em
Let’s haunt the floor, get lost in the crowd.

Chorus
C G
Dance till you drop (dead),
Em D
Shaking your skeleton fears,
C G
Groove with the ghouls instead,
Em D
We’ll boogie for a thousand years.
C G
Raise your bones and shout,
Em D
‘Cause the afterlife’s a jam,
C G
Dance till you drop (dead),
Em D Em
With Bony Ms and the disco clan.

Verse 2
Em C
Mirrorballs and headstones gleam,
G D
Spinning dreams in a fever dream.
Em C
Hearts may stop but feet won’t quit,
G D
Once you start, you’ll never sit.

Repeat Pre-Chorus

Repeat Chorus

Name: Astrid Weber “I first saw Bony Ms at a tiny club in Berlin and instantly knew I’d found my people. Their shows are wild, welcoming, and so much fun—where else can you see a conga line of dancing skeletons? I even dyed a streak of my hair silver to match their lead singer. Bony Ms reminds me to never take life, or death, too seriously. They’ve got the catchiest songs in the afterlife!”
