Great name for a band
Delightful Chip
The story
Delightful Chip formed in the neon-lit heart of Portland, Oregon, when four friends bonded over late-night snacks and a shared love for retro video game tunes. Lead singer and synth wizard Jamie "Sprinkles" Martinez, guitarist Rowan "Crunch" Lee, bassist Sam "Dip" Patel, and drummer Casey "Salt" Nguyen started jamming in Jamie's garage, blending their quirky sense of humor with infectious melodies. The band's name was born from a happy accident: during a heated debate over the greatest chip flavor, Jamie accidentally dropped a chip on the synth, producing a sound that would later inspire their signature "glitch-pop" style. Since then, Delightful Chip has been on a mission to make music as fun and addictive as their favorite snacks.
Glitch-pop with indie electronic and chiptune influences.

Biggest fan
Our favorite fan is Zoe "Z-Bit" Harrison, who runs the unofficial Delightful Chip fan forum and has attended every single show in the Pacific Northwest. Zoe says: "Delightful Chip isn’t just a band, they’re a pixel-powered joyride through sound and memory. Their music gets me through tough days, and seeing them live is like being inside my favorite video game—colorful, energetic, and full of heart. When they played 'Pixel Parade' and dedicated it to the 'chip-heads' in the crowd, I felt like I truly belonged. They inspire me to dance, laugh, and be myself."
