Backstory:
Silky Watch is an electric fusion of four dynamic individuals who met at the University of California, Berkeley. Brothers Daniel and Oliver Parker, who had been playing music since their childhood in their parents’ basement in San Francisco, crossed paths with tech whiz and synthesizer aficionado, Alex North, and classically trained vocalist, Lila Davis. Their shared love of music and their diverse backgrounds led to the formation of Silky Watch in 2015, a band that quickly gained a cult following with its unique sound and exhilarating performances.

The band’s name, Silky Watch, was inspired by a vintage timepiece that belonged to the Parker brothers’ grandfather. This heirloom, with its smooth, silky strap, became a symbol of their commitment to creating timeless music that flowed as smoothly as silk.
