Backstory:
Hailing from the vibrant city of Austin, Texas, Precious Brush was formed in 2010. The band started out as a trio of art school buddies – Milo Parker on vocals and guitar, Stephen Grant on drums, and Claire Jefferson on bass. They were all studying fine arts, which is how they came up with the name ‘Precious Brush’. As they started playing music together, they realized that they had a unique chemistry that translated into a sound that was just as precious as the priceless works of art they studied.
After a few years of jamming and gigging locally, they added a fourth member – Violet Paterson, a classically trained violinist who injected a new dimension into their sound. With Violet on board, Precious Brush has been spreading their unique musical palette across the country, winning fans with their emotionally resonant performances.
