Backstory:

Standard Pleasure was birthed in the vibrant music scene of Austin, Texas, back in 2010 as a brainchild of seasoned musicians Ryan Millard and Jordan Bingham. Their charismatic bassist, Jane ‘JJ’ Jackson, and charismatic drummer, Scott ‘Thunder’ Brooks, soon joined the band. The group connected over their shared love for vintage sounds, crafted beers, and the pure joy of creating music which eventually led them to form Standard Pleasure.

The band spent the initial years honing their musical sensibilities in various garage jams and small gigs before they finally got their breakthrough with the release of their debut album in 2012. Ever since then, Standard Pleasure has been riding the waves of success, leaving indelible marks on the hearts of audiences everywhere.
