Backstory:

Formed in a modest garage in the heart of Brooklyn in 2013, Elaborate Brain began as an experimental venture for four close-knit friends. Alex Simmons (lead vocals, keyboards), Harry O’Donnell (guitar), Tony Vaughn (bass), and Lionel Perry (drums) were all college students, passionate about music and eager to find their own unique sound. Their shared love for music led them to spend countless hours jamming after their classes, exploring different genres, and ultimately creating a distinctive sound that resonated with their creative souls.

Their first gig was at a local bar where they were instantly noticed for their intriguing music and energetic performances. The band quickly gained a loyal fanbase in their home city, propelling them to tour across the East Coast. Their music was coined as a breath of fresh air in the music scene, pushing boundaries and mixing eclectic influences into their songs.
