Backstory:
Blank Seller started as an unexpected duo formed in the heart of London, England. Initially brought together simply because they were neighbors, high-school friends, and co-workers at a local record store, Dave Thompson, a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, and Sarah Woods, a gifted singer with a love for lyric writing, discovered their shared passion for music. They started composing songs during their breaks, and it didn’t take long for them to realise that they had a unique chemistry. With their combined talents and musical affinity, they decided to create a band and named it Blank Seller, inspired by their record store experiences.
Genre:
Their music falls squarely within the Indie Folk genre, characterized by their unique blend of melodic vocals, intimate lyrics, and acoustic guitar riffs. Blank Seller’s sound is deeply influenced by folk tradition but re-imagined in a modern, indie lens.
