Warped Wren

Backstory:
Warped Wren is the brainchild of a group of high school friends hailing from the sleepy coastal town of Seabrook, Oregon. The band members – lead vocalist Jack ‘Jay’ Thompson, drummer Alex ‘Hawk’ Turner, bassist Lisa ‘Raven’ Rogers, and guitarist Cody ‘Finch’ Fitzgerald – were all passionate about music from an early age. They pooled their individual talents and formed Warped Wren in their junior year. Their practice sessions in Thompson’s basement, where they initially started jamming, have now evolved into sold-out shows and a dedicated fan base.

Genre:
Warped Wren specializes in Alternative Rock, with a unique blend of grunge, punk, and indie undertones. Their music focuses on exploring the complex nuances of youth, human emotions, and societal issues, narrated through their compelling lyrics and powerful instrumentals.

Title:
“The Echo of Silence”

Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Em- C- G- D-
Underneath the burning sun, we run, (Em)
Chasing dreams that we spun, (C)
Tales of hope, tales undone, (G)
In the echo of silence. (D)

(Chorus)
G- D- A- Em-
In the echo of silence, we find our defiance, (G)
Our hearts beat in alliance, in the echo of silence. (D)
In the deafening quiet, we see the giant, (A)
A world that’s no longer compliant, in the echo of silence. (Em)

(Verse 2)
Sound of whispers, lost in time, (Em)
Riding the waves of the divine, (C)
In the echo of silence, we intertwine, (G)
Finding solace in the silent rhyme. (D)

(Chorus)
In the echo of silence, we find our defiance, (G)
Our hearts beat in alliance, in the echo of silence. (D)
In the deafening quiet, we see the giant, (A)
A world that’s no longer compliant, in the echo of silence. (Em)
